Configuring Windows Mail

Step 1.

Click on your start menu and select “Windows Mail”.

Step 2.

Click on the “Tools” (1) menu and then select “Accounts…” (2).

Step 3.

Click the “Add…” button.

Step 4.

Click on “E-Mail Account” and then click “Next”.

Step 5.

In the “Display name” box enter your name and click “Next”.

Step 6.

In the “E-mail address” box enter your e-mail address and click “Next”.

Step 7.

Make sure that the “Incoming e-mail server type” drop down box is set to “IMAP”. Enter the incoming and outgoing server addresses as “mail.unwiredbb.com”. Check the box next to “Outgoing server requires authentication” and click “Next”. (If we are hosting e-mail for your domain you may replace mail.unwiredbb.com with mail.yourdomain.com).

Step 8.

Set “Incoming server (POP3)” to 993. Check the box for “This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)”Set “Outgoing server (SMTP)” to 465. Click “OK”.

Step 9.

Click on “Next”.

Step 10.

Click “Finish”. Microsoft Outlook 2013-2016 is now configured to send and receive mail with your unWired Broadband mail account.

Step 11.

Click the “Advanced” tab.

Step 12.

Set “Outgoing server (SMTP)” to 465. Check the boxes for “This server requires a secure connection (SSL)” Set “Incoming server (POP3)” to 993. Click “OK”.

Step 13.

Click “Close”. Windows Mail is now configured to send and receive mail with your unWired Broadband mail account.
